Shepherd’s Pies  Recipe

Ingredients: Gather ingredients like ground lamb or beef, onion, garlic, carrots, peas, Worcestershire sauce, beef or vegetable broth, mashed potatoes, butter, and shredded cheese.

Cook Meat and Vegetables: In a skillet, cook ground meat with diced onion and minced garlic until browned. Add diced carrots and peas, cooking until vegetables are tender.

Season and Simmer: Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef or vegetable broth, allowing the mixture to simmer until flavors meld and liquid reduces slightly.

Prepare Mashed Potatoes: Meanwhile, prepare mashed potatoes by boiling peeled and diced potatoes until tender. Mash with butter, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Assemble Pies: Spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly into the bottom of individual ramekins or a baking dish.

Bake and Serve: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mashed potato layer. Bake in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, typically for about 20-25 minutes.
